Honoring the Believing Supporters of Israel

In late November the Israeli Knesset (Parliament) honored the Body of Messiah in an official session. Israeli leaders thanked a delegation of Believers from around the world for giving aid to Holocaust survivors and for continuing to support the nation of Israel.
The event was organized by Knesset Member Lea Shemtov with the help of the Helping Hand Coalition, a humanitarian organization that provides relief to Holocaust survivors in Israel. Avi and Chaya were invited into the Knesset chamber, representing believers from the Land of Israel. Inside Avi helped to translate several of the Knesset members from Hebrew to English for the predominately English speaking attendees. It was wonderful to be part of this event where the Body of Messiah was officially being recognized and awarded for faithfully supporting Israel and its people. May our nation and people be provoked to jealousy by the love shown to them through the Believing Body.

On November 11th 2011 believers around the world gathered in multiple locations in order to pray and worship the Living God. Avi was invited to the Rose Bowl Gathering: A Line in the Sand, as a representative of Israel and the Jewish People. Many of our ministry friends came with the Israeli delegation, including 6 members of Adonai Roi Congregation. In all, over 25,000 people gathered at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California and prayed for nearly 12 hours, 10am to 10pm.
On 11-11-11, after nearly 6 hours of intercession and praise, the Israeli delegation was led to the stage. Avi joined 70 trumpeters calling for the presence of God with the sound of the shofar (ram’s horn). Each ministry representative was then given a few minutes to pray for the USA. It was an honor for the few Israeli pastors and leaders to participate in this event. We, in Israel, are always encouraged to see believers from the nations come and pray for us, and it was a great opportunity for us as Israelis to come to the United States and pray for America and the nations!
Avi began his time with a short prayer welcoming God in Hebrew and prayed fervently for the Believing Body in the US to have boldness with the Gospel of Messiah:
“Abba Father, I come before you and I want thank you Lord that the Gospel came out from Jerusalem to Jaffa, and from Jaffa to Cornelius in Caesarea (a Roman Naval Headquarters), and to the nations. And Lord, I pray for the American people. I pray that they will not compromise with the Gospel. I pray for boldness. I pray Abba Father that you will raise up men and women of God that will not compromise, will not try to be politically correct, but will stand, and stand for righteousness in this country. They will speak the truth, they will preach the Gospel, and they will not be ashamed, because we are not ashamed. “I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.”(Romans 1:16) I thank you Lord that you want to use again and again the United States of America and the Believers in this country to stand up with boldness, for righteousness, for Your Kingdom. In Yeshua’s name, Amen”
The delegation closed their time with the Aaronic Benediction, praying for the Lord’s protection and peace, just as the priests of the Temple were commanded to bless the nation of Israel in Numbers 6:23-26: “Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: “The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”

Pray with us that the Body of Messiah worldwide, Jew and Gentile, may be bold with the Gospel of the Lord!

Dear Saints:

What we perceive the Lord did and how we saw the Lord’s hand in the Rose Bowl Israel Guest segment is still unfolding.

The first significant spiritual dynamic that occured was that the scripture “I will bless those who bless you”, Gen:12:3 was honored. Regarding all of you who were part of the gathering team, expect unusual blessing to be unlocked in your life and ministry. You blessed Israel.

Secondly, the ministry guests “Prayed for America”. After travelling 10,000 miles to pray for America, it is my firm conviction, GOD WILL ANSWER! the petitions.

Third, Many of the Rose Bowl Gathering guests connected with Israel, some for the first time. Some prophetic advancements took place that we have yet to process. Much of the continuance of the Rose Bowl vision extended into the heart Israel, to the Knesset where the Holy Spirit opened doors between Christians and the Jewish State that are unheard of. You, the Rose Bowl Gathering Team, were honored for your prayers, love, and recognition of the prophetic link between Christians, America and Israel.

Special recognition was given to Pastor Rick Wright & Dr. David Andrade for their heart felt efforts to include & recognize Israel at this stategic time in God’s prophetic plan. The Knesset honored David Andrade and Rick Wright with a Certificate of Recognition as friends linking nation with nation, Israel & America.

Although there were many complications during the Rose Bowl weekend of events, we know the Holy Spirit made His great advancements. If there had not been crisis and conflict, we would have assumed the gathering was not spiriually significant and therefore not a threat to Satan. BUT. . . . .The “Lord was Victorious”.

We were able to compress our time because of scheduling and include the Isaiah 19 group in the Israel time period. This turned out to be a hidden blessing. Although we expended our finances, The Lord will be faithful. . . . .He always has, in my 32 years of watching Him return more than I could ever give to Israel.

Through this spiritual encounter, one of the noteworthy points that was impressed upon me and confirmed by others is that the revival in California, Los Angeles, the west coast, and then in all of America, will come in “waves”. This was one of the “first waves” of what is to come. We are to stand strong, keep the faith, be encouraged, and move forward. The Lord will accomplish what He has promised.

Carol and I wish to personally thank David, Rick, the participating Pastors & churches and all who toiled so much to facilitate the Rose Bowl Gathering, to host our Israeli Guest Ministries, and to pray and stay true to the course.

We pray that many more and greater happenings for souls are ahead and that we may be found faithful to His call.
